Data Protection
We use industry-standard "Row-Level Security" to ensure users can only access the data they are authorized to see. Our authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth, meaning we never see or store your passwords.
Check-in Integrity
To keep the park stats accurate, our servers validate every check-in using:
- Geofencing: Ensuring you are actually within park boundaries.
- Anti-Spoofing: Filters for "teleporting" and rate limits to prevent bot activity.
- Fresh Location: Requiring a real-time GPS fix rather than old data.
Vulnerability Reporting
If you discover a security flaw, please contact us at yitzmeyer@gmail.com. We ask for "responsible disclosure"—giving us time to fix the issue before sharing it publicly.
- In Scope: Vulnerabilities on dogpark.live.
- Out of Scope: Intentional features, such as public (anonymous) check-in counts or standard rate-limit findings on public endpoints.
