What We Collect
To keep the park social and secure, we collect:
- Account Info: Your email and name via Google Sign-in.
- Dog Profiles: Names and photos you upload.
- Activity: Your favorited parks and check-in history.
- Location: GPS data is captured only at the moment you check in to verify you are physically at the park. We do not track you in the background.
- Connections: Links created when you scan another dog's QR code.
The "Privacy-First" Model
We believe in "selective visibility":
- Public Data: Only anonymous check-in counts (e.g., "5 dogs are currently at the park") are visible to everyone.
- Private Data: Your dog's name and photo remain hidden from strangers. They are only revealed to other users after you have both scanned each other's QR codes.
Our Promises
- No Ads: We don't host them.
- No Selling: Your data is never sold to third parties.
- Secure Storage: Everything is hosted on our secure backend (Lovable Cloud).
Your Control
You own your data. You can delete your account, dog profiles, or check-in history at any time directly through your profile settings. For support, contact yitzmeyer@gmail.com.
